These arachnids have been cooked and dried and are perfectly safe to eat (but you don’t have to tell your mates that). The perfect injection (see what we did there?) of high protein for an otherwise bug-free (and shamefully tame) diet.

Did you know that 100g Armor Tail Scorpions contains 54g protein, 976mg potassium and a whopping 1,117mg iron. For comparison purposes, 100g spinach contains just 3.6mg iron (20% RDI). Therefore just two scorpions will give you more than enough iron you need for a whole day. Oh, and they’re sustainably farmed too!
