About the Company.

JR Unique Foods is a HACCP-accredited, family-run business that manufactures insect protein powder and dried insect foods in our state-of-the-art factory located in Udon Thani, Thailand. We offer OEM services and supply high-quality insect products to supermarkets, ingredient suppliers, manufacturers, and food stores, both under our brand and under customer brands.

We also have a subsidiary in the UK that oversees sales in the UK and EU.

Our loyal client base includes customers who have partnered with us for over ten years. Our primary clients are from the United States, Japan, Australia, and Canada.

As our managing owners plan to take some time away from the business, we are seeking a qualified general manager and assistant manager to join our small, friendly family business.

Job Responsibilities

Manage and support production teams by offering guidance, training, and performance feedback to create a skilled and motivated workforce.

Create and put into action effective plans that improve production efficiency, reduce costs, and increase product quality.

Create and maintain clear standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production processes and equipment use

Support all activities related to HACCP standards and other company systems to ensure we meet compliance and quality.

Experience Requirements

  • 5-10 years in food production management, showcasing a proven track record.
  • In-depth knowledge of food manufacturing processes, protocols, and legal regulations that govern the industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a talent for inspiring and developing teams to achieve exceptional results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in both Thai and English.

Education Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in Food, Agro, Chemical, Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with equivalent experience.
